A healthy cat is a happy cat. Please Read.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept cats with feline diabetes.

All bookings require a minimum deposit of $75 or 25%, whicever is the greater. $75 of this is non-refundable. Credits may be issued on a case-by-case basis. Any cancellations within a week before check in date are fully non-refundable. The balance of you cats’ stay is to be paid in full on check in, unless otherwise previously arranged and agreed by Catmandu management.

STAFF MUST SIGHT AN UP-TO-DATE VACCINATION CERTIFICATE WITH YOU ON, OR PRIOR TO CHECK IN. 

Vaccinations are done every year. Please check with your vet before checking in if you are unsure.

All cats must be fully vaccinated prior to arrival. Current certificates must be sighted by one of our staff prior to or on check-in. We reserve the right to refuse check-in if we feel that your cat is ill or if an up-to-date vaccination certificate is not sighted. The minimum vaccination requirement is an F3. It is recommended that adult cats are vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Kittens over 12 weeks of age must have their first vaccinations as well as boosters 2 weeks prior to check-in. We cannot accept kittens under the age of 12 weeks. Cat flu is a viral disease that can spread the same way it does with humans by direct contact, coughing and sneezing. It can be fatal for un-vaccinated cats. This is why it’s important that your cat is fully vaccinated and vaccinations are kept up-to-date.

We, the staff at Catmandu Motel for Cats cannot accept any responsibility for any illness/death which could occur when your cat is in our care. If we feel that your cat is ill, we will seek veterinary treatment and medical advice for your cat. If there is any cost involved, the cost of this will be billed to your Catmandu account, with balance due on check out, including a fee for taking your cat to the vet.

It is your responsibility to advise our staff if your cat has been ill in the last month.

In the case of emergency we will try to contact your preferred vet or emergency contact to determine the best course of action. If we cannot reach your emergency contact (as per your reservation form) to determine what to do, we will take what we feel is the correct and appropriate course of action.

If your cat has been ill and has symptoms such as vomiting, lethargy, diarrhoea or severe dehydration, we cannot accept your booking as your cat could have feline enteritis which can cause death. If your cat does happen to pass away (don't worry, this doesn't happen often at all!) we will contact your emergency contact and vet.

We hate fleas, and so do cats. Please flea your cat(s) 2 weeks prior to their arrival at Catmandu. If you forget to flea them then we are happy to do this for you for a fee.

If your cat is found to have worms or fleas, or evidence of (such as flea dirt) they will be treated with a topical treatment on the spot. All fees associated with this will be billed to your Catmandu account and settled on check out.

 We have the right to refuse check-in for your cat if we feel it is not well or is not properly vaccinated.
